How far would you shoot at a coyote?
Most reading this will say a few hundred yards would be far enough. Even to consider a shot that’s longer than a mile is beyond what most of us are capable of. Especially when the shot from that distance drops the animal in its tracks.
The Dartman crew posted a video of a 1,860-yard shot that hit its mark. That is 100 yards further than a mile. Two shooters — one with a .300 Win. Mag and another with a .338 Lapua — shoot at the same time, dropping the animal where it stands.
