A lot of hunters would love the opportunity to bowhunt for gators. I had heard of the thrill involved with gator hunting, but it did not excite me all that much. Until my wife began watching the TV show Swamp People, and she wanted to go after a big gator in Louisiana with Troy Landry.
We both knew that was not likely to happen, but the more we watched the show, the higher on my bucket list gator hunting got. Well, it just turns out that my wife and I will be heading to Florida in July to hunt gators. After a little research, I found out what I need to be prepared for a Florida gator hunt.
