Bears are known to be climbers. But this bear went to the extreme for a snack.
Climbing to the top of a transmission tower, this bear swiped eggs from a raven’s nest. As you can see, the birds were not too happy, but there was nothing they could do.
Not the easiest way to get a snack, but don’t tell him that.
Linda Powell, Director of Media Relations for Mossberg, was on a woodland bison hunt in northern Alberta when she spotted this bear climbing the transmission tower to sack a raven’s nest for eggs. As you can tell, the two birds aren’t happy about it, but there’s not much they can do to deter the bruin.
