Rattlesnakes invoke bipolar reactions. Some folks love them, but many hate them and the danger they present in wild places.

This video gives an incredibly detailed close-up of a rattlesnake doing its best to ward off a bowhunter. You’ll see its tongue twitch and rattles vibrate as it makes one of the most dreaded sounds in the wild.

Be warned that reptiles don’t die quickly, and rattlesnakes can be dangerous even after they are shot and perceived dead.
