Not only is Illinois known for giant bucks, but the harvest this year increased 10,000 animals over last year, and the season isn’t over yet. Here are the latest statistics from The Washington Times.
Hunters in Illinois harvested more than 85,000 deer during the seven-day firearm season _ a more than 10 percent increase over last year.
