Todd Orr of Bozeman, MT is lucky to be alive.
While out scouting for elk, a grizzly sow that had two cubs had enough of Orr’s presence and attacked the man twice within a ten-minute period. After being mauled, Orr made the three-mile hike back to his truck.
Listen to Orr tell the story before getting to the hospital. Let this be a reminder to be alert while in bear country. Bad things can happen if you’re not careful.
"Life sucks in bear country."
#Reposting @thealaskalife with @instarepost_app — Todd Orr of Bozeman Montana takes a short video after being mauled by a Grizzly Bear sow that had 2 cubs…not once but TWICE!! Todd has sustained various injuries but is incredibly lucky to be (relatively) OK even though he had to walk back to his truck 3 miles!! We are glad you're OK, Todd, and you're as tough as boot leather! ! WOW!
We are posting this to let folks know that it can get pretty nasty out there when you likely least expect it. Stay safe, always tell folks where you're going!
