In my opinion, the number-one area to improve in factory crossbows is the triggering process. No doubt, the heavy pull and travel in the trigger is prompted by legal aspects, since a heavy trigger is often more safe than a lighter pull. However, I’m not talking about a “hair” trigger that will fire with a bump, but one that simply releases without creep and at a reasonable pull — say, 2.5 pounds.
