BU Country25Mossy Oak’s Break-Up pattern was introduced in 1996, based on an artist’s rendition of outdoor elements. It remains one of the nation’s most popular patterns.

New Break-Up came along six years later, using digital technology to replicate outdoor reality.

For 2015, Country is the next-generation pattern, with larger images and the most realistic look ever.

Anyone can create a great digital image, yet transferring that exact look to fabric is a major challenge. Mossy Oak’s Pat Epling spoke glowingly about the new breakthrough that begins with four colors, adds an additional four more, and includes 14 colors in seven printings to get the final result. Wow! Additionally, the transfer is seamless, so a cotton T-shirt and a nylon hat will look the same.

The new pattern is designed to blend well with a wide variety of hunting environments, yet the Mossy Oak message is equally one of everyday attire.

“It’s more about lifestyle,” said Mossy Oak’s Ben Mackie. “To BU Country37bring people closer to nature, dressing up, and spending time outdoors whether hunting or planting food plots. The more time you spend in a Country lifestyle, the better.”
