The events on this video are enough to soil underwear in fright, yet humorous enough to crack up laughing. When this hunter’s life is on the line, he yells “Hey, bear” to scare it away. Does the grizzly know its name? Speak English?
Admittedly, I’ve used those same words to avoid bear confrontations. Perhaps calling out the bear helps keep the human’s fear in check.
