It’s good to get a turkey in as close as possible before you shoot. Especially with archery gear.
But there is such a thing as too close! I think it would be a little tough to get a shot off while the bird is sitting on the limb of your bow.
It’s strange how hunters can work their butts off day after day, trying to call a bird to within shooting distance, when all of a sudden a carefree turkey lands on your bow. I don’t think hunters will ever completely figure out the animals they hunt. Especially if they keep doing crazy things like this.
