Wild hogs are known to be a tough animal to kill. With an armor-like plate protecting their vitals, any bullet or arrow has to be precisely placed. Anything less that that will require a tracking job that be tough at times, if not impossible.
.22-caliber rifles are known as a rifle good for coon, squirrel, and rabbit hunting, and pinking in the back yard taking in some target practice. They are not known to drop a big wild hog in its tracks, but that is exactly what this one did. See how it all went down.
