Squirrel season is open across much of the country. And it’s about time: Fried squirrel with mashed potatoes and gravy is one of my favorite foods!

Something I am not so fond of, though, is cleaning squirrels, and all the hair I usually leave behind on the meat.

This technique shows us a simple and clean way to clean squirrels.
