Joe Franz harvested an absolute giant on his farm in Iowa.
After getting trail cam pictures of this monster, he only had one buck he was after. And for good reason. A buck of this caliber is rarely seen in the wild, let alone harvested.
With the buck just out of range for his crossbow, he made the right choice, and let the buck walk out of sight. I imagine many sleepless nights were had thinking of what could have been. Then a few days later, Joe went to his blind with his muzzleloader.
