With Halloween come and gone, you may have an excess of pumpkins around or a friend with a surplus.
If you’re a deer hunter, pumpkins make a great food source if you break them open and allow them to rest for a week or two. Friends report taking a pickup load of the orange ovals to the woods. Once they reach the correct age, deer devour them all. Or you can set up a shooting course, like the one in this video demonstration, to see how your pistol or rifle shoots through them.
