Every now and then, bobcats and other animals end up in traps when either the season is closed or the trapper already has his limit for the year.
When that happens, the animal has to be released. The animal will not be injured, contrary to what many non-trappers will tell you. The trick is to release the animal without you being harmed.
This video shows you how you should not do it. Sure, the cat was freed, but there’s a safer way to get the job done. These guys are lucky they weren’t hurt.
