TenPoint startled the archery industry on January 9, 2019, with the introduction of several new crossbows and a host of must-have accessories.

Nitro XRT

The Nitro XRT grabbed headlines as the fastest crossbow on the market, shooting an incredible 470 fps and generating 190 foot-pounds of energy. What does the increased speed mean to today’s archer? How about 25% flatter trajectory for arrow flight, and increased downrange accuracy and killing power.    https://www.tenpointcrossbows.com

The Nitro XRT uses reverse-draw technology that increases the power stroke of the bow. There are many advantages to a reverse-draw crossbow, including the fact it generates more speed from lower draw weights. The XRT has a 16.5-inch power stroke that works in conjunction with 225 pounds of draw weight. Add the RX-7 cams to the equation, with 404 degrees of rotation, and the energy delivered through the dual-flex limbs is mind-boggling. On top of that, there is the slingshot technology that works like a turbo boost to generate speeds that are hard to comprehend.

The Nitro XRT is amazingly quiet and well balanced. Again, the elongated power stroke produces more speed and energy in an efficient and quiet manner. In fact, the Nitro XRT is three times quieter than the competition. It is just 7 inches wide axle-to-axle, with an overall easy-to-maneuver length of 30.7 inches. The new T5 trigger can be compared to one on a custom rifle and further increases the ability to shoot accurately and consistently. A noteworthy upgrade for this year is the revised ACUdraw PRO cocking system that operates in silent mode.

Turbo M1

The Turbo M1 was the sleeper at the press conference, as the quiet cousin to the Nitro XRT. The Turbo M1 was engineered and priced to put crossbows in the hands of more hunters. It comes as a complete package, ready to hunt, starting at $899.99.

The Turbo M1 uses new technology to generate speeds up to 380 fps. The reverse cams and narrow design increase the power stroke to produce 122 foot-pounds of kinetic energy. The crossbow is just 9 inches axle-to-axle and is stealthily quiet.

The Turbo M1 bow is powered by new VX-5 reverse cams that elongate the power stroke and increase rotation to produce shocking speed and downrange accuracy.

The new T5 3½-pound auto-engaging safety trigger is noticeably smooth and breaks clean. The stock has a two-position adjustable butt plate, and cutouts in the fore-grip and buttstock to reduce weight and improve balance. The Turbo M1 is 32.5 inches long and weighs in at a maneuverable 6.4 pounds. For crossbow history buffs, the new M1 is 4.5-inches narrower and 20 feet-per-second faster than its Turbo GT predecessor.

The Turbo M1 comes standard with TenPoint’s 3x Pro-View 3 Scope and, like all TenPoint crossbows, it features TenPoint’s DFI (Dry-Fire Inhibitor). Available with two cocking devices, the ACUdraw PRO or ACUdraw 50 SLED, the Turbo M1 is decorated in Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camo. It is available only as a complete package that includes the scope, cocking device, three Pro Elite carbon arrows with NEW Alpha-Nocks, and quiver.

Titan M1

The Titan is well known to crossbow enthusiasts, as it is TenPoint’s all-time best-selling model. The Titan M1 is an upgraded version incorporating new technologies to make this old favorite an eye-catcher. The M1 is an unbelievable 9.5 inches narrower and 30 feet-per-second faster than its legendary predecessor. The Titan M1 shoots 370 fps, producing 116 foot-pounds of kinetic energy. It is just 9.0 inches axle-to-axle when cocked and has a total length of 32.5 inches.

The Titan M1 is power-driven by VX-5 inverted cams that elongate the power stroke and increase rotation, creating quiet and efficient energy. The Titan M1 is packaged with or without the ACUdraw cocking device and offers cost-effective options and extreme value. Packages do include: TenPoint’s 3x Pro-View 3 scope mounted on a machined aluminum 7/8-inch Fixed Dovetail Mount, ACUdraw or Rope-Sled, 3-Arrow Instant Detach Quiver, Ambidextrous Side-Mount Quiver Bracket, and three TenPoint Pro Elite carbon arrows with 100-grain practice points.

Accessories

To top off new products, TenPoint introduced the new Alpha-Nock for precise, consistent string capture, providing 28% increased nock-to-string engagement. After years in development, there is now a Center Punch Premium Broadhead available to crossbow hunters. The 100-grain heads fly with field point accuracy, are mechanically deployed but require no collars, and provide a 1 7/8 inch cutting diameter. How about a premium crossbow scope? The EVO-X Marksman is a 1.5-6 X 36 crossbow scope with built-in holdovers to 80 yards, and it comes with illumination.
