The PSE Archery RDX 365 is a heavy-duty crossbow with arrow speeds approaching 365 fps. Its split-limb design and reverse-draw cam system deliver significant power. The bow cocks easily, due to its cams and a 165-lb. draw weight, with the safety automatically engaging at the cock position. The 14.5-inch power stroke is launched by a trigger of just 3 lbs., making it ideal for hunting situations. The stock comes in the new Mossy Oak Break-UP Country, blends well, and looks sharp.
Arrow Performance
In keeping with my heavy-arrow bias, I re-nocked a dozen Easton Crossfire carbon shafts which weighed 330 grains, giving me a shaft that weighed 455 grains when tipped with a 125-grain broadhead. Initially, the Crossfire shafts had flat nocks, but an arrow misfired on the first launch, so I changed to moon nocks and all went well. Arrow speed with this heavier set-up was quite good, averaging 329 fps with a kinetic energy reading of 109.4 ft-lbs.
