Hunter Rents Helicopter to Find Downed Buck

The worst feeling a hunter can experience is wounding a deer and not being able to find it. If you hunt long enough, it’s bound to happen.

What measures would you go to in order to find a wounded deer? One Ohio hunter went to extremes, by renting a helicopter to find his monster Ohio buck. Field & Stream has the full crazy story.

Steve Esker of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, went to extraordinary measures to claim this dandy 20-point buck inside the Columbus city limits on Sept. 29, the fourth day of the Buckeye State’s early whitetail season.
