The process doesn’t take as long as you may think, and the side benefit is munching on bacon while your bourbon is taking on the smoky flavor.

Just a few simple steps will have your taste buds on their way to sheer bliss:

Fry your bacon
Measure your Bourbon
Pour bacon fat into measured Bourbon
Infuse mixture
Skim excess fat
Strain infused Bourbon
Whip up your cocktail
