The African Cape Buffalo, often called “black death,” has earned that reputation by killing many hunters, even those carrying the most powerful sporting rifles in the world.

Cape buffalo are particularly dangerous when wounded, as they often wait in ambush for trailing hunters who can be rushed and gored by a ton of furious mammal.

Spain may have the “running of the bulls,” but trying to outrun an enraged Cape buffalo is suicide.
