Ruger developed the Hawkeye Predator line with long-range accuracy in mind and matched the rifle with traditional predator calibers.
The rifle features a three-way safety, two-stage trigger, and adjustable length of pull, so that the rifle can be customized for the precision shooting needed for long range critters.
Interestingly, the model now offers the .308 Winchester option with a 22-inch barrel.
I tested the rifle, topped with a bright Burris scope and had no problem ringing the 100-yard gong shot after shot.
If you’re looking for a rifle that’s built for accuracy and will make a perfect deer rifle, this one is worth a look.
