Just when crossbows break the 400-feet-per-second barrier and you think you’ve seen everything possible in archery, a new product comes along: the vertical crossbow. The BullPup, made by Hickory Creek, is unique in many ways. First, it uses standard compound arrows, has a very light trigger pull, can be fitted with a scope, and shoots very quietly. Most importantly, it’s vertical and can shoot from tight spaces just like a recurve or compound.
