Bobcats are a significant predator that often fly under the radar. As feline predators, they have the natural stealth of all cats, make few noises, and their natural camouflage blends well with surroundings.
Bobcats breed like house cats and raise litters year round, so they’re fairly prolific. Not as large as mountain lions, they’re scrappy hunters that kill fawns easily and will tackle medium-size deer. If they hunted in packs, humans would have a challenge in the woods. Watch this cat attack.
