Florida Snake Hunters Kill Dozens of Pythons

Snakes are not my thing, dead or alive. To get me out to hunt one down would be next to impossible, especially if I knew we’re hunting down a huge python.

That knowledge did not stop hunters in the Florida Everglades, though. WPLG Local 10 out of Florida has the story on dozens of pythons killed by hunters.

Burmese pythons, which blend in and hide in the swampy dense vegetation, are an invasive species in Florida, where scientists say they have squeezed out populations of native mammals.
