For the first time, the Pennsylvania Game & Fish Commission has authorized the raffle of an elk tag. There are a few reasons this lottery drawing could be the hunt of a lifetime for any sportsman.

First, you can hunt the entire 60-day season, eliminating the need to cram the hunt into a tight window and preventing conflicts with other hunting dates.

Second, you can hunt any legal hunting zone in Pennsylvania.

The bulls’ size is another incredible aspect. Some elks are true Boone & Crockett trophies.

Here more reasons to invest $25 in this incredible hunt drawing.

pIMG_8213[1]A 6-day fully guided hunt has been donated by Jack Manack, owner of Elk County Outfitters, for the lucky winner. The guided hunt includes meals and lodging and guide service with a very experienced and successful outfit. Details of the offer are available on KECA’s website. A fully donated shoulder mount has been offered by Cliff Cessna, Cessna’s Taxidermy, DuBois, PA for the fortunate hunter. And, as an added bonus, the hunt will be filmed by the camera crew from TomBob Outdoors, Friends in Wild Places Adventures Series to be aired on national TV. Brad Clinton, Producer of TomBob Outdoors, Ridgway, PA made that very generous offer. The guide service, taxidermy and film crew are available if the hunter chooses to participate. There is no obligation to use the guide service, taxidermists or the film crew, it is the hunter’s choice.
