The Hottest Rimfire on the Planet

The Winchester .17 Super Magnum was launched at the 2012 SHOT Show, but rifles have been in short supply until recently. For anyone who enjoys shooting light, extremely fast bullets, this new cartridge is a dream for targeting varmints and small predators. The tiny 17-caliber bullet flies accurately with very little wind drift; propelled by the new Super Magnum powders, it drops just 3.5 inches at 200 yards when sighted in at 50. Now that’s flat! Additionally, tiny varmint bullets greatly eliminate the probability of a ricochet in field situations, and the lower muzzle blast keeps the neighbors out of the picture.
