Nikon is known for quality optics, and the Buckmasters series fills their meat-and-potatoes category with a great hunting tool at a reasonable price.
I’m a fan of Nikon scopes and took a nice 5×5 elk using one in Colorado. The bull only offered a few seconds of opportunity, but the scope had great visibility, put the reticle on the money, and the .300 Win Mag did its job.
