Bucks show up unexpectedly while we are hunting all the time. But rarely when we’re feeding the cows.
Somehow this buck was wedged between two big round bales of hay and could not free himself. Thankfully, the ranchers spotted the stuck buck and quickly got him free.
The hay bales were stacked in a circle, and the middle was filled with grain. When the buck tried to jump over the bales to get to the food, he slipped and wedged between the two bales.
Now if I could just get a buck of that size to hold that still at that range when I’m in a tree, it would be a great hunt.
Nice save.
