A satisfaction hunters receive after a successful harvest is being able to enjoy their bounty from the hunt. There’s no better way to do that than to process your own meat.
A lot of different things can be made from a big game animal, such as the traditional burger and steaks. Perhaps your taste buds prefer summer sausage, slim jims, or brats. Whatever your pleasure, there’s something for everyone.

I have always wanted to process my own meat. As a kid we would even process all of our own animals, cutting and wrapping the steaks and roasts. Occasionally, I would help make a batch of jerky. I take pride in filling my freezer with meat I have harvested, plus, there is nothing healthier than wild game and wild-caught fish. [continued]
